Why are the apps more expensive?
Because they take a commission on every order, and the menu price on their side is raised to cover it. That is how the model works, and it is not a secret.
We are glad to be on both. A lot of people find us there who never would have otherwise, and that is worth paying for. This page is only about what happens once you have already found us. At that point the app is charging you more to introduce you to somebody you already know.
Ordering direct also earns loyalty points, which the apps cannot pass through.
